You really can’t beat San Diego. Where else can you decide to get married in this kind of setting and just go do it? These two are so much fun, and it really came through in their photos!
The Mrs. shot this one all by her lonesome.. When your wedding is so intimate that there’s only six people there, two photographers is probably overkill… eh? Feel free to ask us about single-photographer coverage for smaller weddings or events. We’ve started making it available on weekdays and Sundays!
Speaking of, we’re getting antsy and could use a trip to Vegas. Anyone want the best darned Elvis wedding photos ever taken?
Here are some favorites from Dan and Stephanie’s wedding…

Last weekend, we met up with Carolyn and Jon for a glass of wine and some engagement portraits before their September wedding. You have to love a weekend where you hang out with very fun clients who play a game of trust for the camera!
We really love working in our own neighborhood, and since Carolyn and Jon are Cardiff locals, we decided there wasn’t any good reason to go further than a few blocks from their apartment. Even the solo portraits that look like we dragged around a piece of white-seamless were actually just courtesy of some stark-white concrete panels on the wall behind Seaside Market. Ironically, this was one of the very rare occasions that we pulled a flash out of our bag, and we were using it to blow out a wall instead of pointing it at our subjects!

Jenn and Ryan are amazing people. It’s common for us to befriend our clients and go out for dinner and drinks or get together for birthday celebrations after spending so much time working together on their wedding… but Jenn and Ryan are a rare couple in that the four of us hit it off so immediately that we’ve been hanging out frequently in the months leading up to the wedding.
Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the site to find that instead of eating at a vendor’s table, we’d actually been assigned to a guest table! A certain first for us.
The wedding was flawless. A really graceful mix of elegance and comfort. We’d recommend their location and vendors whole-heartedly; it was a really talented group of people.
Ceremony and reception at: ZLAC Rowing Club, Pacific Beach
Catered by: Phil’s BBQ!
Sorry for the partial list of vendors. We didn’t manage to get everyone’s business cards. We’ll edit this once Jenn and Ryan get back from their honeymoon. Hear that you two?
