Marceline and Juan Carlos were married on July 25th at their beautiful home in Spring Valley. The Mr. and I originally met them at Melanie and Oscar's wedding last October, and we were thrilled when they asked us to be their photographers as well. We have been so lucky to get to know not only Marceline and Juan Carlos but also Marceline's daughters over the last year-- I'll admit I even cried a bit during their ceremony! Their fiesta-themed wedding was both emotional and full of laughter, as you can see:
Mrs. and Mr. Goodnickels are us. We're wife-and-husband photographers with the privilege of documenting some profoundly awesome moments for some profoundly awesome people. This is what we've been up to lately!
We're still catching up from the wonderful madness that has been our first full-fledged wedding season as an official company! We've been so excited to share all of these gorgeous weddings, but as the Mr. mentioned before, we've been too busy shooting to sit down and blog! So I am reveling in playing catch-up.
Stephanie and Eric got married July 18 at the San Rafael Parish in Rancho Bernardo, with their reception at the Town and Country Inn in Mission Valley. The locations were both so beautiful, as was Stephanie! Everyone was extremely happy and outgoing, which made our job very easy. We were so lucky to be a part of Stephanie and Eric's elegant and super fun wedding, and here are some of our favorite snaps to prove it:
So... No one's ever accused us of being uber-saavy marketing types. We don't really advertise, we haven't hit up the bridal bazaar circuit, and we have no idea what page we come up on google (too lazy to click that far). We've certainly never been a part of any sort of competitive ranking type of scenario.
But how can you not be flattered enough to throw your hat in the ring when out of the blue comes an email from one of your brides... asking you why she couldn't find your business on the cityvoter.com page?
Contest aside, we're happy to give our business information to anyone willing to stick our name on their website.. and if someone wants to say nice things about us to boot? We're down. So we filled out the forms and sent an email to our current clients. Wouldn't you know it? We've already got a bunch of ridiculously awesome reviews up there! Pretty nuts.
So, yeah. We're in. Let's do this.

Oh, and to sweeten the deal.. we took advantage of the CityVoter.com coupon feature and added a special offer: If you can beat us at Wii Bowling, we'll give you 100$ off of your wedding package.
Hint:
Not. Gonna. Happen.
