Mrs. and Mr. Goodnickels are us. We're wife-and-husband photographers with the privilege of documenting some profoundly awesome moments for some profoundly awesome people. This is what we've been up to lately!

Hi, all-- it's the Mrs. again. I felt the need to blog this one because Gabby is one of my oldest childhood friends. We had lost touch after high school, but last summer we had a chance encounter. Come to find out, she had met Robin, the most perfect man I could imagine for her. After spending a week with them at their home in Brooklyn in April, it became clear to me that such a well-matched couple does not come around often, and Phill and I are thrilled to be photographing their wedding this summer in New Hampshire. Gabby and Robin recently came down to San Diego to work on some wedding plans with her parents, and the four of us were able to go for a walk around a park and hang out on a suspension bridge for a bit. Below are some shots we snapped of them that day, including evidence of their favorite hobby: lindy hop!

Last weekend we bounced around Marceline and Carlos' property to take photos of them and their girls in preparation for their big day!

This shoot was really an incredibly fortunate collaboration between Elizabeth & Brandon, the Mrs. & myself, Samuel Beam, and a little bit of barely-known land tucked away in Encinitas. We really couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Elizabeth and Brandon somehow showed up dressed perfectly matching the sparse wildflowers in bloom. The four of us trekked, hacked, and stumbled our way through some tricky brush for an hour... listening to Iron & Wine and snapping frames into the sun.

We couldn't be happier with what we came back with. Hope the couple and their family love the photos half as much as we do!
