On Saturday, our dear friends Katy and Coner tied the knot. Mel and I were both intimately involved. Mel was second shooting for another good friend of ours, Jaime Fritsch, and I actually officiated the wedding!

We're working on putting larger galleries together, and we'll have lots of photos from this wedding and the other events we have filed away, but in the meantime here are a couple of my favorite shots that Mel got early in the day.

My mom saw the website this week. She said she liked the banner of us at the top of this, page. I thought that was funny.. I told her I didn't, but explained that the software we're using had this theme we liked that had a built-in picture of a horse race, and we wanted to swap it out, so we took a picture at whatever-o-clock to get things moving.

I think it's a bit dark (mood, not exposure), but maybe that's us? Anyways... She says the only problem is that the lamp is crooked.

Weird, mom. That's the only thing I liked about it.

I spent some time today picking through scans of some old Vogue magazines for inspiration. I'll probably share some of that soon, but meanwhile.. Mel showed me an image our friend Jaime shot at a wedding recently. It's my favorite image I've seen in a while, for sure. I can't get over it.
