Our trip to Washington was primarily to attend and celebrate the wedding of Brenda (Mel's cousin!) to Sean. We weren't the photographers (some family members prefer to see our mugs sans-camera at their celebration), but we couldn't help but take a few photos.

We had a great time partying with the beautiful and talented Lisa (of JL Photografia). She's the groom's sister, so the couple is surrounded by shutterbugs. Fortunately, their official photographer was very patient... and he needed to be. There were five wedding photographers in the room!

Aforementioned official photographer was Ryan Flynn. If you need a photographer in the Seattle area (or anywhere else, really), you should check him out. His images are incredible, and it was really neat to watch him work. We definitely hope to spend some time with him again.

A couple of weeks ago, Mel had the opportunity to second shoot for the lovely and talented Susie Linquist, who is based right here in our neighborhood. Kate and Sherman's wedding was at the Temecula Creek Inn, and they first stopped at a gorgeous estate belonging to a family friend of Kate. Both locations provided all kinds of lovely places to take photographs. Here are some of our favorites.

On Saturday, our dear friends Katy and Coner tied the knot. Mel and I were both intimately involved. Mel was second shooting for another good friend of ours, Jaime Fritsch, and I actually officiated the wedding!

We're working on putting larger galleries together, and we'll have lots of photos from this wedding and the other events we have filed away, but in the meantime here are a couple of my favorite shots that Mel got early in the day.
