Uggh. It was tough not to blog this wedding in six parts, instead of two.. but we're getting backed up on the blog front so we had to push forward. Chris and Megan's wedding was just plain awesome, though. When the Mrs. and I got married, we splurged on wedding photography. For us, we'd realized that we found a photographer who wasn't only going to document our wedding... but also give us the most amazing portraits of a hundred of our closest loved ones. That's something we really enjoy doing for other people, and Chris and Megan were specifically interested in that part of what we do. The amazing personalities at their wedding made our job very, very easy..

Also, we can't recommend the Hard Rock enough. You should probably get married there, immediately.

Frances and Marcus couldn't schedule an engagement shoot with us, so they opted instead to take some portraits after the wedding. In this case, way after! We played around in stormy weather in the Goodnickels' hometown of Encinitas. Got wet and dirty-- and then ate some eggs and potatoes, just the way it should be!

Chris and Megan's wedding was amazing. So amazing, blogging it in a single post would be ridiculous. So we're putting it up in bits-and-pieces.

We've known the couple for quite a while, and unsurprisingly... they threw a serious party. The ceremony and following festivities were on the roof of the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown San Diego, a really incredible venue. Couldn't have imagined a better start to their lives together as a hitched duo!
