This past holiday season brought us a new wave of fun family business that we were eager to embrace. Typically we focus so much on weddings and much less on family portrait sessions, so it was really exciting to grow that part of the Goodnickels brand. Also, I've mentioned it before, but our family clients this year just dominated the "best dressed" category-- I love coordination without matching! Here are a few photos from the Henson family's recent shoot with their 6-month old twins and the Robbins family's shoot with their daughter in preparation for a new arrival:
Mrs. and Mr. Goodnickels are us. We're wife-and-husband photographers with the privilege of documenting some profoundly awesome moments for some profoundly awesome people. This is what we've been up to lately!
This year, we did so many holiday card family sessions that I thought I'd start to share them before 2011 is officially over, beginning with the adorable Hoecks.
People ask me all the time what they should wear for their photo shoot, and I am always terrified that they will show up in white turtlenecks (which hasn't been acceptable since 1992). Our clients all nailed it this year in the outfit department, and the Hoecks are no exception-- I love the coordination without the matching. So take inspiration, and have a great holiday season!
our fabulous associate, Natalie, recently spent the day with the Roberts family for baby Rylan's Charger-themed birthday party at a private club house. I love the fun photos she snapped of all the festivities! (And feel free to inquire about having Natalie photograph your family.)
